While strongly impacting our day-to-day lives, the digital revolution also represents a leap forward for the professionnals.

Nowadays, thanks to 3D softwares, it has become much easier to make technically complicated objects, and printers have reached a precision level that has become difficult to compete with only by hand.

In this age of dematerialisation, this « virtual » way of working leads to a decrease in costs and a shortening of production time-frames…

Thanks to my background in jewellery making and my expertise in digital tools, I can help you determine the most suitable techniques for your projects.

If you wish to have an object modelised in 3D, print an existing file or submit an idea that you would like to be realised, you are in the right place.

Within a very short time-frame, your project will come to life, with my only supervision and in total respect of confidentiality.

SERVICES

MODELLING / CAD

Feel free to contact me if your projects need 3D modelling. Thanks to the experience I have been gaining since 2002, we can work together on a confidential basis in person (in Paris) or by e-mail, within a reasonably short time-frame.

Your files will then be kept encrypted for as long as you wish, or destroyed as soon as the project is over. They are your property, and you can get them back anytime.

PRINTING

These 3D files can be printed in resin for a presentation, or with a wax-jet machine to create a model (in order to melt it in the metal of your choice).

You can send your own files by email. They will be checked and improved if needed before printing (which very few of my competitors would do for external files).
The models will then be delivered in Paris, in a foundry or by carrier.

SCANNING

With a scanner that is specially designed for jewellery, it is possible to digitize a gem, a piece of jewellery or any other small object.

This will allow very precise fitting or, for instance, the integration in a 3D model of elements which have been priorly hand-made.

EXPERTISE

For more complex projects, such as developing a collection or any other demand that requires external expertise, you can contact me.

I will help you materialise your project and direct you towards trusted providers.

THE DIFFERENT STEPS FOR CONCEIVING YOUR PROJECT

RENDEZ-VOUS

By email, on the phone or during an appointment in Paris, you can present me all the details of your project and all the technical and time constraints it implies.

You can provide me with a sketch, a dimensional drawing or even a 3D file… The more precise you are, the shorter the deadline will be.

MODELLING

In return, I will send you back a 3D file, a perspective or a technical drawing, so that we can validate together the shape and dimensions of your piece of jewelry.

This step usually happens by email so that it is done more quickly.

PHOTO RENDERING

If needed, I can provide you with a photorealistic rendering of your piece. This can be very useful for a customer presentation, to create variations around one model or to build a catalogue before the jewel has been made.

MODEL

Once it has been validated, the design will be printed in wax. This model will then be presented to you or directly taken to the foundry.

After that, you can take your model with you and finish crafting the piece as you usually would.

A SHORT INTRODUCTION

Following in the footsteps of a long family lign of jewellers, I began to practice very early.

After seven years of training in Paris, I graduated in several subjects that allow me to be entierly self-reliant and to perfectly understand the many difficulties that can occur in our field.

In 2001, I discovered 3D rendering and realised all the potential of this new technology. It has had a strong impact on the way I have worked since.
